Term 2 HobbyCon 2024

Hello, glorious clubs... you're invited to attend the first ever UNSW Arc Hobby Convention! This event is intended to be an expansion of Games Galore, which in itself was an expansion of Boardgames Bonanza.

Rather than just catering to gaming societies, we intend to now expand the reach of the event to all societies- this would hopefully be a convention style event, with activations standard to other conventions of a similar nature. This will be an event open to all students!

We've booked out the WHOLE Roundhouse, for the June 12th (Wednesday) so we have a ton of space to work with...

What are we hoping to put on?

Gaming, of the digital and traditional tabletop variety (still is an extension of Games Galore after all!)
Artist Alley & Merch Markets!
- This does mean we're looking for Artists- if you know any artists that want to show off their stuff and make some money, let them know of this event!
- We're also accepting Clubs that want to promote and sell Club-related merchandise!
- These spaces will be competitive- so stay tuned for the Artist Alley EOI form (separate form here)

Participation Details

Let us know what you're interested in running! You can have a stall, run an activity, or light up the stage with a musical number or panel. If you have any ideas or plans that fit outside of these definitions, let us know ASAP!
